As a care worker, I do a vital and often challenging job – frequently involving multiple visits to clients per day, each with diverse needs. At Care Centred Ltd, they believe a fair day's work deserves a full day's pay. They protect my earnings by paying for both my care time and my travel time.
As a professional care worker, my day is a complex balance of providing person-centred care and logistical planning. I visit multiple clients with diverse needs, and most of my visits are between 30 to 60 minutes. While rotas can have tight schedules on some days, our organization does its best to avoid us being forced to reduce visit times to accommodate travel.
Since the focus of our day is to ensure that our clients receive the best care and attention they deserve, the company creates the best working conditions for every employee. This includes an hourly rate that also caters for our travel time, which prevents us from having to rush and ensures we can spend the full, allocated time with our clients.
At Care Centred, our hourly rate stays our hourly rate.
